Georgia Exploreum is an emerging hands-on STEAM learning center designed to serve students, families, homeschool learners, and educators across South Metro Atlanta. Here, visitors won’t just observe science, technology, engineering, arts, and math — they’ll touch, build, experiment, and create.
Every exhibit and program is shaped with community input, ensuring Georgia Exploreum reflects the curiosity, creativity, and future of the region it serves.
WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Children learn best by doing. When kids can test ideas, solve problems, and explore the world around them, learning becomes joyful — and powerful. This kind of hands-on discovery lights up learners of every kind — the movers, the makers, the question-askers — anyone whose curiosity grows when they can jump in, try things out, and explore together.

Georgia Exploreum will offer immersive exhibits, maker spaces, and real-world challenges that build critical thinking, creativity, confidence, collaboration, and pathways toward future careers.
This isn’t screen time. It’s hands-on, minds-on discovery.

Georgia Exploreum is no longer just an idea...
IT’S A MOVEMENT
Two Fayette County teachers saw a gap. Kids needed more hands-on STEAM opportunities close to home. So they started building something new.
Today, that vision is powered by a growing team of community leaders, an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit designation, and community events already in motion.
