WHERE CURIOSITY COMES TO LIFE

Building a hands-on STEAM destination designed to spark wonder, creativity, and discovery for learners of every age.

Our Mission

To cultivate wonder, ignite creativity, and empower learners of all ages — from classroom students to homeschool explorers — through joyful, hands-on STEAM discovery that is accessible, inclusive, and community-driven.

How It All Began

The Georgia Exploreum began with a simple conversation between two longtime Fayette County teachers, Adele Moore and Kathryn Floyd. After decades in the classroom, they saw how powerfully children respond to hands-on STEAM learning — and how limited those opportunities were close to home.

What started as a shared dream quickly grew into a nonprofit initiative supported by educators, families, and community leaders across the region.
