We recognize that launching the Georgia Exploreum — a new children’s interactive STEAM museum — is a mammoth undertaking, both in its potential impact and in the planning, funding, and construction required to bring it to life. As we begin this journey, we're operating under a few guiding principles: the museum will be established as a non-profit 501(c)(3), with exhibits ideally sponsored by local businesses whose products or processes align with STEAM concepts. Admission fees will be structured to sustainably cover essentials like utilities, insurance, and maintenance. Most exhibits will be designed to be intuitive and self-guided, encouraging hands-on exploration without the need for a docent. This is the beginning of something bold, imaginative, and deeply rooted in community collaboration.
