Kares 4 Kids (and Keller Williams Realty-Atlanta Partners) awarded Georgia Exploreum a generous grant to help build new exhibits inspired by the creative proposals from McIntosh High School STEM students. We’re deeply grateful for Kares 4 Kids’ support as we bring these student‑designed STEAM experiences to life for our community.

Our Georgia Exploreum build team—made up of community volunteers and Exploreum members—has been hard at work turning recent grants from the Peachtree City Rotary and Kares 4 Kids into brand‑new mobile STEAM exhibits inspired by McIntosh High School STEM students. McIntosh High School’s STEM team students wowed our Georgia Exploreum board with 29 imaginative, STEAM‑rich exhibit proposals designed for both our future museum and our mobile Exploreum outreach program. Guided by STEM teacher Seth Bishop, students delivered professional‑quality pitches that blended creativity, engineering, science, technology, and hands‑on learning. On April 9, 2026, co‑founders Kathryn Floyd and Adele Moore shared an overview of the Georgia Exploreum with the Peachtree City Rotary, answering questions and inviting members into the vision. Attendees—and even a few children—got hands‑on with our wind tunnel exhibit, experiencing firsthand the joyful, curiosity‑driven STEAM learning the Exploreum is bringing to the community.

On March 7, 2026, Georgia Exploreum shared its wind tunnel at Fayette County's Science Olympiad competition held at Booth Middle School. We were so excited to see so much excitement and engagement from both students and adults! This is the type of energy that fuels our enthusiasm to make Georgia Exploreum a reality for our area!
